I started playing music as a teenager. My first instrument was bass guitar and it quickly became an obsession. I played in bands with friends in pubs and had a great time.

I went on to study music and completed a degree in 2014. Since then I have been giving lessons in guitar, ukulele and bass guitar and performing with jazz bands, wedding bands, tribute bands and other acts.

My musical taste is extremely varied, having gone through multiple phases including rock, jazz, electronic and folk.

During the covid lockdowns I discovered American guitarist John Fahey and that style of finger picking guitar which led to my current phase. I enjoy teaching and performing and helping people to discover music.
